My client list is currently CLOSED
I'm currently working with so many clients and have a waiting list as well that I've decided to close down my waiting list for now and not accept further enquiries. I do sincerely apologise for this inconvenience.
I know how hard it can be to take that first step of even admitting that you could do with a bit of extra support, and then do the research online to find the right fit, before finally getting to that point of saying 'today is the day I make contact' and to then arrive at this message - I'm sorry.
There are so many great options via the counselling directory and with most of us working from home/online, at least you can pick people from across the country and aren't limited to Perth counsellors.

UPDATE 21.06.20:
In March, in line with lockdown, I closed my brick and mortar practice and started working online.
This has proven great in many ways and with no longer having to pay office rent, I can now offer a reduced fee to benefit you during these challenging times.

Hello! And a warm welcome to my website.
Perth Coaching, Counselling and Psycho-therapy (PerthCCP) is a unique enterprise, and one of few in Scotland to offer you a combination of future-based, goal-orientated and dynamic coaching, along with reflective, analytical counselling, examining learned behaviours from the past, intertwined with psychology-informed, evidence based therapy models and techniques, all held together by a pluralistic philosophy.
At PerthCCP I'll offer you a safe, friendly and confidential space to explore whatever 'problem in living' you're currently experiencing.
I practise a model called the 'Pluralistic Framework' - a theoretical and philosophical approach that values everyone's uniqueness and recognises that no 'one-size fits all' when it comes to dealing with your specific problem or issue.
My approach and training means I can work with a large array of people and issues, but specialise in helping people who feel a bit lost in life and who're unsure what direction to take, those who're struggling with their self-worth, procrastination, perfectionism, a harsh inner critic and feel that they've lost a sense of who they are and what their authentic voice sounds like, in a world that's busy telling you who to be and how to live, and I love working with creative types who want to make a change to their future, direction and self-beliefs.
**If you're wanting to explore complex trauma or are dealing with a complicated diagnosis like BPD or an eating disorder, you should seek a counsellor with specialist trauma training. If you're aware that your issue perhaps falls into this category but feel a bit lost in what to do next, please do get in touch and ask for recommendations/advice.**
The two most important aspects for therapy success and your successful outcome are
1) your relationship with your therapist - that you feel heard, understood, validated, respected and safe and that you feel able to open up and be honest with your therapist
2) that you're ready, willing and able to make changes to your life - that, essentially, means to actually put in the work outside of the sessions. Your mental health and emotional well-being should not be a hobby project if you want to make true and lasting changes.
Unfortunately, I do not (yet) have a magic wand, and so, the work that needs to be done to improve whatever you're wanting to work on, will, in the end, be your responsibility. What you put in is what you'll get back and if you don't change anything, nothing will change.
To learn more, please use below to guide you around my website, or click on COUNSELLING MENU to find further information.
Or, simply book yourself into a 'taster session' to learn more, ask any questions you may have about me, PerthCCP or talk-therapy in general, and get to know me in person via my 'CONTACT & FEES' page.
